Patient Advocate Foundation's Co-Pay Relief program exists to help reduce the financial distress patients, and their families face when paying for treatment. JJPAF has taken action to ensure that qualifying patients in need of donated medicine can access those medicines.
As such:
  • JJPAF will assist eligible patients who have recently lost their jobs and their insurance coverage
  • JJPAF remains fully operational, including accepting and processing new applications
  • JJPAF will continue to monitor COVID-19 to address any additional changes that are required consistent with our charitable mission

The Rooney Road Recycling Center is the permanent year-round household hazardous chemical and waste recycling center made available to Jefferson County residents (and Arvada residents in Adams County) by your local government.

It’s easy to make an appointment online or by phone to deliver your wastes to the Center on Wednesdays and Saturdays from 8 am to 2 pm, or schedule residential curbside pickup.A small copay is required for household chemical disposal. Some items are recycled for free and some require an additional charge. We recycle over 99% of the chemicals collected, keeping them out of our natural environment.

Used Paint Recycling

Used paint is now being recycled through a program managed by PaintCare. If all you have is architectural paint products to dispose, make an appointment to bring it to the Rooney Road Recycling Center and recycle it for FREE!

Very Small Quantity Generators (VSQG)

Businesses that acquire hazardous chemicals and need to recycle / dispose of them properly can also use the facility.Participating jurisdictions do not subsidize businesses and they are required to pay the full amount of recycling / disposal. Contact the Center by calling 303-316-6262 to make arrangements.

Electronics

The Rooney Road Recycling Center accepts electronics as a convenience to the public. It is illegal to dispose of computers, computer monitors, laptops, notebooks, tablets televisions, and peripherals such as keyboards, mice, and printers, fax machines, DVD and VCR players, radios, stereos, and video game consoles in the trash.

The Center will properly dispose of your electronics and ensure secure erasing of hard drive data for a per pound charge. Other certified ewaste recyclers may have less expensive pricing.
